The Australian Livestock & Property Agents Association (ALPA) is the National Peak Industry body for livestock and property agents.

ALPA represents more than 1,200 agency businesses across Australia. Collectively this group plays an important role in livestock, wool, merchandise and rural property sales and marketing.

ALPA Members handle in excess of 97% of rural agency business Australia wide. It is one of the largest organisations of small rural business men and women, relied on to protect the interests of agents and producers nationally.

Established in 1994, Rural Marketing Agents network (rma network) now has a strength of 86 head offices, and a further 36 branch offices, throughout the Eastern and Western states of Australia.

The rma network aim is to provide its members with networking facilities for the marketing of Livestock and Property, and to increase their business skills and management performance. The network continues to grow through the acceptance into the membership of agencies with a proven track record.

TLSAA operate out of the state of the art Tamworth Regional Livestock Exchange which was opened in June 2013 to replace the saleyards formerly operated by Tamworth Regional Council.

TRLX provides outstanding facilities designed to maximise selling prices for producers. Key features include soft floors for cattle and pavilion roofing toprovide better presentation of animals and more comfortable conditions for buyers which will normally result in higher selling prices.

This saleyard information website has been built to ensure the best possible access to a safe and informative information service about saleyards on a website.

It includes a variety of items ranging from the National Livestock Reporting Service compiled market reports, industry news items, through to all forms of information regarding saleyards.

Meat & Livestock Australia Limited (MLA) delivers marketing and research and development services for Australia's cattle, sheep and goat producers.

MLA creates opportunities for livestock supply chains from their combined investments to build demand and productivity.

Most of MLA's funding comes from transaction levies placed on the sale of livestock, with the Australian Government providing matched funding for levy investment in most R&D.

MLA provides services, tools and information that create tangible benefits for livestock producers that flow back to the farm gate. 

The Department of Primary Industries is a division within NSW Trade & Investment and works to develop and sustain diverse, profitable food and fibre industries, and ensures best practice management of our natural resources.

Our responsibilities include developing profitable, sustainable and biosecure agriculture, and fisheries; ensuring best management of catchments, natural resources and water; and regulating the state's food sector.
